Join us in person and virtually for 6th Annual Festival of Books on August 20 presented by the University of San Diego. Enjoy workshops, activities, photo booths, live entertainment, discussions with award-winning authors and more! USD panel authors’ books will be for sale. General admission is free and all events are open to the general public. Registration is strongly encouraged.

 

USD Faculty Panel: Law, Diversity and the Environment

In this panel, showcasing recent work by faculty in USD’s School of Law, Roy L. Brooks, JD, Warren Distinguished Professor of Law, will discuss themes from his book Diversity Judgments: Democratizing Judicial Legitimacy, while M. Margaret McKeown, JD, U.S. Circuit Judge and Jurist in Residence at USD, will reflect upon the life and environmental legacy of William O. Douglas, the subject of her book, Citizen Justice. The discussion will be moderated by Robert Schapiro, Dean of the School of Law.
