Join facilitators Amy Lepine, Esq. and Molly Wescott (Assistant Dean, Career and Professional Development) for a guided meditation. With the hectic pace and demands of a busy practice, many attorneys feel stressed and over-worked. We are often so busy we feel there is no time to add another “to-do” to our already full plate, but meditation gives you more time by making your mind calmer and more focused. Meditation has profound benefits that only continue to increase with regular practice, including stress reduction, increased clarity, improved attention and concentration, as well as promoting a general sense of happiness and contentment. Recent research has proven that meditation changes the structure of the brain and provides neurological benefits including enhanced connectivity between brain regions.
Not sure where to start or how to cultivate this mindfulness practice into your life? As part of the SDCBA’s Wellness Wednesday Series, join us for a guided meditation via Zoom on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. In this 1-hour monthly series, you learn and practice a breath-based meditation technique and each session will include a guided meditation by facilitators Amy Lepine, practicing attorney and meditation enthusiast.
