In collaboration with USD Just Read!'s selected title, $2.00 A Day: Living on Almost Nothing in America, Communication Studies Assistant Professor Jillian Tullis' students from her Health Communication course will lead discussions with attendees about the book and their experiences completing the SNAP Challenge. Their goal is to help attendees better understand how socioeconomic status influences public and political messages about health, nutrition, and poverty.
