USD's Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering welcomes all seniors graduating Fall 2024, Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 to participate in our time-honored Senior Ceremony. Join us as we celebrate this major milestone in the academic careers of our engineering and computer science grads and recognize the completion of their undergraduate degree programs at USD. Some of our students are finishing their classes this semester, and others will finish in the spring or summer. This is a way to have a special, more intimate recognition for our students and their families, separate from the large commencement ceremony in May.
The Senior Ceremony will include a welcome by Dean Chell Roberts, an alumni welcome message from Senior Director of Alumni Relations Elisa Lurkis, an alumnus guest speaker, the Pledge of the Computing Professional and the Order of the Engineer ceremonies. Professional attire is recommended.

Engineering & Computing Expo Schedule*
| 12:30 p.m. | 2024 Engineering & Computing Expo opens: Graduates' parents, spouses, families and friends are invited to attend! Food and beverages served |
| 2:30 p.m. | Engineering & Computing Expo closes |
| 2:30-3:00 | Teams breakdown presentations and move to the UC Forums with (2) invited guests for the Senior Ceremony |
* This event is open to industry partners, advisory board members, the campus community, graduates and their families and friends (unlimited graduate guests can attend the Expo).
Senior Ceremony Schedule**

| 3:30 p.m. | Pledge of the Computing Professional and Order of the Engineer ceremonies begin |

* This event is by invitation only for graduating seniors and their parents/spouses. Each graduate can have up to two guests (parents/spouse) in attendance. Don't miss out on this momentous occasion!

Message to Graduates:
Participation in the Order of the Engineer ceremony at the UC Forums is mandatory for engineering graduates to receive their ceremony ring and certificate (it is not mandatory for graduation - these are steel rings, not class rings). Participation in the Pledge of the Computing Professional ceremony at the UC Forums is mandatory for computer science graduates to recieve their pin and certificate (it is not mandatory for graduation).
