This year's Christmas Tree Lighting which will take place on Monday, December 2, from 4:15 – 5 p.m. on Paseo de Colachis.

The purpose of this wonderful USD tradition is to kick off the holiday season in community while reflecting on the theme of "light out of darkness."

In addition to the tree lights being turned on for the first time, the event includes cookies, hot chocolate and other holiday refreshments; carolers; remarks from the Associated Student Government President, Graduate Student Council Chair, Student Bar Association President and President James T. Harris; and an interfaith blessing of the tree.

No RSVP is necessary. All are welcome.
