A recital of text-sound and music from Dada to the 21st century, featuring the first-ever complete stage performance of Christopher Adler’s Zaum Box, performed by Los Angeles-based speaking percussionist, Jordan Curcuruto, along with works by Charles Amirkhanian, Kurt Schwitters, Jo Kondo and Samuel Vriezen.
Future Beyond Reason is presented by the USD Department of Music and the USD Humanities Center, with the support of the USD Provost’s Office, the Department of Art, Architecture + Art History, and University Galleries.
