Torero baseball will open up the 2019 season at home for a three-game series with Wagner beginning Friday at 6 pm. The Toreros were picked to finish fourth in the WCC preseason poll and feature a talented incoming class that joins a skilled group of upperclassmen this season.
USD Baseball alumni Austin Green will throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Friday night. Green was a catcher and outfielder for the Toreros from 2009-2013 and was a member of the 2013 WCC Championship team and also spent five seasons with the Detroit Tigers organization.
