USD Women of Impact Nominations Now Being Accepted

The Women’s Commons is now accepting nominations for the 21st annual Women of Impact Awards. Members of the university community are invited to nominate students, faculty, administrators, and staff who identify as women and have had a profound impact on the USD community through their work and connection with others.

A Woman of Impact is one who lives principles of social justice. Through their work, activities, and relationships they support others in finding their voice, developing skills for transformation and understanding who they are called to be. Their community is not merely a place in which they exist; it is a place they actively improve.

All nominees will receive an invitation to attend the 21st Annual Women of Impact Luncheon on Thursday, November 29, where they will be honored as strong women exhibiting leadership and positively influencing the USD community.

A diverse group of USD community members will review the nominations and select one undergraduate student, one graduate student, one staff, one faculty, and one administrator to receive this year’s award.

The Women’s Commons encourages you to participate in the tradition of honoring USD women by submitting a nomination. The nomination form can be found on the Women's Commons website. Nominations are due by October 26.
