Every year teachers, administrators, social workers, coaches, parents, caregivers and college instructors gather from around the world to learn why character education matters in our educational system. Attendees learn cutting-edge techniques to teach character education from experts around the globe.
Presenters
Carole D. Bos, J.D. is the founder of “AwesomeStories.”
Thomas Lickona, Ph.D., Developmental Psychologist, Professor of Education, Director, Center for the 4th & 5th Rs (Respect/Responsibility), SUNY- Cortland.
Jon Moffat, creator of the Cyber Advocate Program.
Fran Chadwick, Ph. D. is the Project Director for Literacy and the Law, California State University San Marcos.
Steve Breen, is the Political Cartoonist at the San Diego Union Tribune and a two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize. He is also the author of several children’s books.
Who should attend? Teachers, school-based administrators, counselors and instructional supervisors, district office curriculum specialists and staff developers, social workers, coaches, parents and caregivers, college and university instructors, and undergraduate and graduate students in teacher-preparation programs.
Conference Cost: $175 per individual, $120 for 2 or more individuals from the same school or organization, non -USD students $75.00 with a student ID, USD students -$50.
