The SOLES Sustainability Committee invites you to join a week of events focused on promoting and raising awareness around sustainable practices.

Meatless Monday: Monday, November 16, 12:00 pm, MRH Sala  

Discover delicious and satisfying alternatives to meat-based meals. Food will be provided, but feel free to bring a meatless dish if you feel compelled!


Body Awareness and Mindfulness Techniques: Tuesday, November 17, 11:30 am, MRH 141 

Join us for a restorative class that focuses on body alignment and posture led by Sebastian Slovin, SOLES MALS student, Wellness Coach and Yoga Instructor. Pick up some tips to try out during your workday and continue or jump-start your mindfulness practice.


Guest Speaker Michel Boudrias on Climate Change and Sustainability: Wednesday, November 18, 12:00 pm, MRH 201 

Michel Boudrias, USD Changemaker and Marine and Environmental Studies Professor, will be joining us to speak about climate change, sustainability, and how we can do our part. Lunch will be provided, so please RSVP to solessustain@sandiego.edu with any dietary restrictions.

SOLES Compost/Recycle Q&A: Thursday, November 19, 12:15 pm, MRH 133  

Please join us for an hour 'Lunch and Learn' session on SOLES composting and recycling efforts. This will be an interactive session, which will include a discussion and Q&A around best practices for composting and recycling. Please bring your own lunch!
