This exhibition and corresponding events are postoned as a preventive measure to reduce risk related to the COVID-19 virus. Visit the university’s COVID-19 website for the most current information for the USD community. The gallery opening and talks have been postponed to Fall 2020. In the meantime, we will host an online exhibit, which will be announced shortly.

Chicano Park @ 50 commemorates the poster art imagined by celebrated artists, in alliance with the Chicano Park Steering Committee, in order to announce and pay tribute to its annual celebration of the Chicano Park Takeover that occurred April 22, 1970. This partial artistic retrospective highlights a testament of Chicana and Chicano grassroots community building that seeks to educate, agitate and engage us through the power of art. Exhibition on view March 30 through May 15.
