Chicano Park @ 50 commemorates the poster art imagined by celebrated artists, in alliance with the Chicano Park Steering Committee, in order to announce and pay tribute to its annual celebration of the Chicano Park Takeover that occurred April 22, 1970. This partial artistic retrospective highlights a testament of Chicana and Chicano grassroots community building that seeks to educate, agitate and engage us through the power of art.

This event is open to the public
