Join Del Dickson, JD, PhD, for a lively discussion of the theory and practice of President Trump’s judicial appointments.

What is President Trump trying to accomplish in reshaping the federal judiciary, and how likely is he to succeed?  Who are the winners and losers in this process, and when are we going to get tired of all the winning?

Dr. Dickson has taught at USD since 1987 in the department of Political Science and International Relations. He teaches Introduction to Political Science and a variety of upper division law courses, including Constitutional Law, Judicial Behavior, Comparative Law, and International Law. His research focuses on the U.S. Supreme Court and the relationship between law and democracy.

This event is $10 per person to attend and includes light appetizers and your first drink (beer or wine).

Attending from USD:
