High School Programs

​​Inspiring the next generation of cyber warriors.

Educating and inspiring high school students about cybersecurity is a top priority for the University of San Diego's Center for CyberSecurity Engineering and Technology (CCSET). They are our future to keep our country safe and secure as well to help fulfill the needs for workforce development in this ever-changing complex environment. USD's CCSET offers:

GenCyber Summer Camps

(Postponed until 2021)

High school students come together to learn, engage, dialogue and inspired about cybersecurity and career options in the field. Students spend one week on campus, from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday on the USD campus. The camp includes on-campus lab, hands-on environments, career workshops and experiential learning through a variety of different field trips. Applications open each spring.

Law Enforcement Cyber Camp 2020

(Postponed until 2021)

In collaboration with San Diego Law Enforcement agencies we are launching the inaugural Cybersecurity Law Enforcement Investigations and Digital Forensics Camp; a week-long program lead by our San Diego law enforcement partners.

CyberPrep @ USD

(Registration for Summer 2020 Open)

High School students will have an opportunity to fully immerse themselves in a 5-day cybersecurity online program in a virtual lab environment. Anticipated program dates will begin July 2020 with meeting times from, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on weekdays. Please contact Cybercenter@sandiego.edu for further details. Click here for registration

Days of Cyber

(Postponed until 2021)

High Schools can bring groups of students (up to 40) to engage in a day of hands-on learning and career awareness around cybersecurity topics and industry needs. Days of Cyber meet typically on Fridays, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
