Dr. Milo is a Family Nurse Practitioner with ten years of experience in academia, research, hospital, home health, and primary care environments. She has expertise in the quality care and patient satisfaction for acute and primary care settings as well as managing medical treatment and care plan for patients with chronic illnesses. Dr. Milo has strong knowledge and experience in Healthcare Informatics. She has extensive experience teaching online both at the undergraduate and the graduate programs. She was awarded the National Dean’s List and the National Scholars Honor Society Merit Scholarship.

Dr. Milo is a member of several organizations including Western Institute of Nursing (WIN) Member, Philippine Nurses Association, National Association of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants, American Academy of Nurse Practitioner Member, Golden Key International Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, and Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. She served as an abstract reviewer and a poster judge for the WIN.

Dr. Milo teaches in clinical and health care informatics courses in the graduate and DNP programs. Her current research interests include diabetes; obesity; palliative care; health care informatics; outcomes research in minority populations; and clinical simulation.
