Kaitlin Wheeler joined USD in 2022 starting as an executive assistant in the Department of Political Science and International Relations as well as the Department of History. Since then she has explored various roles at USD and now resides in the College of Arts and Sciences as a department manager. She particularly enjoys connecting with the CAS executive assistants and department chairs.
Prior to joining USD, she worked as a research associate for Applied Research Institute Jerusalem, assisting in the Jerusalem-based environmental research institute's project focused on environmental and climate justice research in Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. In her freetime, Wheeler teaches classes about paganism, witchcraft and art-making in Bird Rock, the community where she grew up.
