Imagining New Intersections Between Business and Peace

The Center for Peace and Commerce (CPC) is a partnership between the School of Business and the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies to prepare new generations of change makers. The CPC encourages students to develop and exercise innovative approaches for making a positive impact on the 5 Ps – people, planet, profit, peace, and partnership. The CPC contributes to a new paradigm for business and peacebuilding through teaching, mentoring, and social enterprise development.

Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge

Through the Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge, university students in participating universities generate ideas for innovative ventures that respond to a social, economic, environmental, or justice issue of their choice and compete for seed funding at an annual global event to launch or expand their ventures!

Women Innovators Women Innovators The Women Innovations Initiative encourages the development of female students as social entrepreneurs and innovators through dialogue, field experiences, networking, mentoring, and funding opportunities.
Idea Labs Idea Labs are workshops, speakers, and educational events to catalyze student social innovation and entrepreneurship-- in and out of the classroom.
