Emergency Information
If you are experiencing an emergency situation, call 9-1-1 as soon as it is safe to do so.
- Contemporary cell phones will connect to 9-1-1 even when not connected to your service provider's cell tower. As long as there is a cell tower in range, your cell phone will connect.
If you need to talk to someone about evacuations, shelters, road closures and other disaster-related services, call 2-1-1 as soon as it is safe to do so.
