Aglaya Glebova is Assistant Professor in the departments of Art History and Film & Media Studies at the University of California, Irvine. A specialist in modernism, Soviet art, and photography, Glebova is currently completing a monograph the photography of Aleksandr Rodchenko during early Stalinism. Parts of this manuscript have been published or are forthcoming in Representations and Art History. Glebova’s work has been supported by the American Academy in Berlin, the Canadian Center for Architecture, the Dedalus Foundation, and the ACLS, among others. She received her PhD in History of Art at the University of California, Berkeley. In Fall 2019, Glebova will join the Department of Art History at Yale University as an Assistant Professor in Modern Art.
