Details

An extraordinary behind-the-scenes look at the events that led to the creation of the Freedom Writers in the aftermath of the LA uprising over 25 years ago.

This powerful film will take us through the incredible transformation of the students of Room 203 at Wilson High School in Long Beach, Calif. They came together to overcome racial hatred, stereotypes and gang violence by becoming writers of their own stories of hope and social change.
