Join Carrie Herbert, the Expressive Arts Institute, and the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies in an evening to gather, listen, and learn about the transformative potential of music and the arts for trauma healing, conflict resolution, and peacebuilding. 

About Carrie Herbert, BN(Hons), PGCE, MA, CAGS, International Arts Psychotherapist, UKCP, Reg Supervisor
Carrie Herbert is an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist, qualified Trainer, supervisor and consultant. As Director of Arts Therapy Services for Ragamuffin International / Ragamuffin Cambodia, Carrie’s role combines overall management of Ragamuffin’s work in the UK and overseas, and work as an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist, trainer and supervisor.

Carrie has extensive experience in the following areas: asylum seekers and refugees, mental health, trauma and abuse, conflict and post-conflict work, therapeutic training and supervision. Carrie has also worked as a pioneer and consultant to the International statutory and NGO sectors in Asia, India, Indonesia, Peru, Russia, HK, Singapore, Kazakstan, Mexico, and Turkey.

Together with Co-Director Kit Loring, Carrie has developed Indigenous Arts Therapy training and therapeutic supervision in partnership with Statutory and Non-Governmental Organisations in Cambodia.
