Banned Books Week is an annual event that encourages us to celebrate intellectual freedom and consider the harmful effects of censorship. Our annual Banned Books raffle is on and all members of the USD community are invited to participate. One student and one faculty/staff member will each receive a $150.00 gift card to the Torero store and a copy of their favorite banned book. To enter, visit our display on intellectual freedom and censorship on Copley’s main floor or join us for Blind Date with a Banned Book on Copley Patio, Thursday September, 27th, from 3:30pm-6:00pm.
