The University of San Diego's Children's Advocacy Institute is one of more than two dozen groups who will receive funding from donors led by the Gates Foundation. "The Children's Advocacy Institute will raise awareness of policies that make it difficult for foster children to escape poverty," according to The Chronicle of Philanthropy.
