Preparing for Law School

If you are thinking about law school, the Department of Political Science and International Relations is a good place to start. Law and politics are closely related subjects, and if you are interested in one you might well be interested in the other.  If you are interested in law or law school, consider majoring (or minoring) in Political Science or International Relations.

Our department offers a variety of courses that will help you prepare for law school and beyond.  These include a broad range of law-related courses, such as constitutional law, international law, criminal law and politics, environmental law and policy, and our law and public policy capstone.  Four of our faculty have law degrees as well as PhDs, and the campus pre-law advisor is a member of our department.

Visit the Pre-Law Advising page for more information.
