Students studying international relations and political science have the opportunity to apply their global knowledge while studying abroad. Here are a few of your options.

Toledo, Spain Toledo, Spain We strongly encourage our majors to participate in one of the many study abroad opportunities available at USD. Study abroad incorporates an international dimension to our majors and provides students with alternative perspectives on the U.S.
Freiburg, Germany Freiburg, Germany Living and studying in a foreign setting also introduces students to new cultures, provides an unparalleled opportunity to improve foreign language skills, and enhances independence and self-confidence.
Aix, France, Oxford, England, Vienna, Austria Aix, France, Oxford, England, Vienna, Austria USD has affiliated and sponsored programs in Austria, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico and Spain. The University is currently working to establish an additional study abroad program in Latin America. USD financial aid is available for all of these programs.
Cork City, Ireland Cork City, Ireland The department may also accept coursework completed at unaffiliated foreign universities, but it should be pre-approved by the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and the Chair of the Political Science and International Relations Department before departure.
Florence, Italy Florence, Italy Students should be aware that coursework from unaffiliated programs can pose administrative difficulties and are not eligible for USD financial aid. We hope that our students will take advantage of one of these opportunities.
