Jonathan Wadley, PhD, has been teaching at the University of San Diego since 2011. He teaches undergraduate courses on international relations, comparative politics, and political philosophy. He also teaches graduate seminars on international relations. He has published research on gender and international security.

Areas of Interest

Wadley enjoys teaching a broad range of courses. In fall semesters, he teaches Theories of Comparative Politics. In spring semesters, he teaches Theories of International Relations. These courses help sophomores and juniors think theoretically and comparatively about the world. He also offers introductory courses for students who are new to international politics and political philosophy, as well as special-topic seminars for advanced undergraduates and master’s students. He enjoys meeting with students to discuss their ideas.
