Public Defender's Office Seeks Investigative Interns
The Department of the Public Defender seeks investigative interns accepted as volunteers while enrolled in college-level coursework in Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology or a related field. APD’s volunteer program provides exposure to adult and juvenile criminal cases, as well as providing practical investigation experience.
Typical activities of an Investigative Intern:
A minimum commitment of 12 hours per week, for a period of six months is required. Requirements: California driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance, background check, completion of basic medical screening.
