Bill Gore: 'The attacks changed the entire FBI'
San Diego Union Tribune -- Bill Gore was already a seasoned FBI agent, heading the San Diego office of some 400 employees, when the biggest terrorism attack on the nation’s soil hit on Sept. 11, 2001.
The office was quickly thrust into the national spotlight when it was learned that two of the hijackers, Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid al-Midhar, spent most of 2000 in Clairemont and Lemon Grove, living openly among the Muslim community. (Full Story)
