Monday, November 4, 400 to 600, Chambers Panel Discussion on the Middle East, in collaboration with Professors Michael Provence, UCSD, Farid Abdel-Nour, SDSU, Necla Tschirgi, USD, Ali Gheissari, USD, and Mietek Boduszynski, Pomona University, IPJ Auditorium.  Reception for Faculty and Graduate Students 600 to 730 follows in Garden of the Sea.

January 15 to 24, Window for Registration for Spring Short (1.5 units) Travel Courses to Costa Rica on Politics in Developing Countries (tentatively March 2 to March 8, Sunday through Saturday) and to Monterey California on Politics and Security in South Asia II (April 10 to 14, Thursday through Monday.)  Minimum enrollment required or course will be cancelled.
