Matt Zwolinski speaks at Georgia State on "Exploitation and Unfair Pricing"

Event Start DateFriday, October 11, 2013
Event Start Time3:30 pm - 12:00 am

We all sometimes feel like we've been ripped off. But when it comes to prices - how much is too much? What makes some prices fair, and others unfair? When does ordinary profit-seeking become exploitation?

On Friday, October 11, at 3:30 PM, Matt Zwolinski will address these issues in a talk to the philosophy department at Georgia State University entitled "Exploitation and Unfair Pricing."

Matt Zwolinski is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of San Diego and the author of numerous articles on exploitation, price gouging, and sweatshop labor. This talk will be based on a chapter from his book in progress: Exploitation, Capitalism, and the State.
