Humanities Center Student Board

The Humanities Center Student Board (HCSB) was established with the purpose of enhancing student participation in the Center. Student board members will help conceive ideas for events, design student-led programs, voice student views about the center, and work to attract prospective students to participate in the success of the center.

  • Plan an event each semester, coordinate study breaks and staff the Alcala Bazaar table.
  • Represent the voice of the diverse student body.
  • Attend monthly meetings and additional meetings whenever needed.
  • Collectively organize and lead two Humanities Center programs or events per semester.
  • Represent the Humanities Center across campus.
  • Form connections with other groups on campus such as schools, organizations, centers, clubs, and institutes.
  • Recruit and select the student board for next year.
