Iana Quesnell has been a member of the faculty since 2008. Quesnell teaches Foundations and Form, a sculpture class in the undergraduate Visual Arts department.

Quesnell is the fourth recipient of the Museum of Contemporary Art Cerca Series start Up Award. She has exhibited in solo shows at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla, CA; The Cecut in Tijuana; Voz Alta in San Diego; and in group shows at Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego; Escondido Center for the Arts, Escondido; LACE, Los Angeles; Queen’s Nail Annex, San Francisco; Sundown Salon, Los Angeles.
At Univeristyof California, San Diego, Quesnell has taught a variety of courses as a teaching assistant including Sculpture, 2 Dimensional Practices, the History of Film and the History of Art and Technology. At USD, Quesnell teaches an undergraduate sculpture course that focuses on the reuse of materials with projects concerning the body, shelter, and a form of social sculpture involving game play through which students learn to work collaboratively.
