Fun fact: I moved from Philadelphia to San Diego at 25 with no job and having never visited because I wanted to learn to surf. And I did!

I wish more students knew that instead of asking “What do I want to do with my life?”, a more meaningful question might be: “What problem or challenge in the world do I want to help solve?” Let that guide your academic and career choices.
