How to Declare Your Business Major

Your future starts here.

You have researched our program. Made your list of pros and cons. And maybe you polled your friends and family. Now you have decided you are ready to declare your major.

To declare your major for the first time in the University of San Diego School of Business, follow these steps:

1. Register for a Declaration of Major session presented by one of our academic advisors by clicking on one of the links below. Students may not attend a session without registering a minimum of two days in advance.

At this session you will learn more about the USD School of Business, course curriculum, majors offered, and resources available to you -- and you will officially sign your Declaration of Major form. Do not forget to bring a laptop!

Please note: Students are required to attend one of these sessions to declare. If you have any questions, contact the USD School of Business Advising Office.

2. You will be assigned a USD School of Business academic advisor and will be able to schedule an appointment with your assigned academic advisor. At this time, you are officially enrolled in the USD School of Business.

3. Attend a Passport Program orientation within two weeks of attending a Declaration of Major session. Students are not permitted to attend a Passport Program orientation without first attending a Declaration of Major session.
