Financial Planning Association

The USD Financial Planning Association (FPA) is a student chapter of the international professional organization for financial planners, the Financial Planning Association and an affiliate of the San Diego Chapter. The USD club has monthly meetings with guest speakers from the field of financial planning. Members may attend the San Diego Chapter meetings and networking events as well as participate in volunteer and mentorship programs.

Student Finance Association

The USD Student Finance Association (SFA) provides members with opportunities to network with finance professionals and meet other students pursuing a career in finance. The club has weekly meeting with guest speakers who hold various positions in the finance field, including investment management, corporate finance, private equity and banking. Members also have the opportunity to attend finance conferences and other professional networking events in San Diego and across the country.

Student International Business Council

The Student International Business Council is a privately endowed, student-led organization dedicated to its vision of "Peace Through Commerce." Focused on leadership, international business, and responsible business conduct, the long-term goal of the council is to develop individuals who will go on and play a fundamental role in peace around the world. The Council completes several projects per year in conjunction with business leaders in the San Diego area and other parts of the world, which give students real world experience using commerce to facilitate positive change. The council sends students overseas for leadership conferences and internships and is looking to expand in this aspect of the organization in upcoming years.
