V. Program Electives

There are a wide variety of elective courses. Students may select a concentration by focusing electives in a particular area of expertise. Two elective units must be taken in the corporate social responsibility area.

Students may take up to 6 elective units from the School of Law or other relevant USD graduate program.

Some electives and core courses may be taken in the study abroad programs sponsored by the John Ahlers Center for International Business. These courses may also be taken at one of our partner universities for a semester study abroad experience.

* *GSBA 593 must be taken twice and in two different geographic regions. Students may substitute the second international practicum requirement with a short-term study abroad course, semester abroad, or an international internship.

VI. Additional Requirements:

Statistics for Managers – online certification course with instructor guidance. Second Language competency - Students are required to demonstrate "Mid-Intermediate" or higher on the ACTFL Scale oral competence in a language other than English.
