Advance -- and enhance -- your career with USD's MBA program.
The Evening MBA program in the School of Business Administration offers the same broad-based curriculum as the Full-Time MBA, with a focus on globally relevant and socially responsible business fundamentals, and is designed for full-time professionals. This program provides practical, hands-on experience balanced with business best practices that you can immediately apply in your career.
The Evening MBA offers evening courses starting at both 5:30 and 7 p.m. Classes are available year-round allowing for degree completion in two to three years. Most students who work full-time choose to attend classes two nights per week. Each semester, executive-style elective opportunities are offered as well, giving you the opportunity to accelerate or progress through the program at your own pace.
The Evening MBA is a cohort-based program, with each cohort moving through the majority of core classes together. The experience begins with a one-week, full-time orientation on campus that includes the first two-unit MBA course. Cohorts are given several options of course progressions that maximize the shared learning experience, while allowing for individual scheduling flexibility. The strong sense of community and personalized learning environment is highlighted in the cohort experience.
Short-Term Study Abroad
Evening MBA students are welcome to participate in the many short-term study abroad courses and international consulting practicums that are designed specifically to fit into the busy schedules of working professionals. Study abroad trips are usually between 7-14 days in length. Full semester exchange opportunities are also available to Evening MBA students if desired.
