Jeremy Gabe teaches undergraduate real estate courses including commercial real estate finance. He spent the last 15 years in the New Zealand real estate and architecture research community, frequently consulting with governments and industry councils interested in the adoption of green building practices and management of green building assessment tools. His applied research, including the value of urban design, adoption of sustainable building practices and housing affordability, regularly wins awards from leading academic societies. Gabe was a founding member of the Future Leaders of ARES and currently serves on the board of the International Real Estate Society. In 2018, he co-chaired the 24th Pacific Rim Real Estate Society conference in Auckland, New Zealand.
