Mark has been the executive director emeritus of the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate since 2015. He founded the University of San Diego real estate program in 1993. Mark is currently principal of Riedy Advisors, coaching clients on growth and management issues. He also publishes a blog mjriedy.blogspot.com, which highlights his random thoughts on an unlimited range of subjects. Mark’s avocation as a volunteer is helping special operations veterans transition out of military service, in particular as they explore their career options and consider graduate degree programs. Mark has served on nine public and private company boards, including Fannie Mae, Pan Pacific Retail Properties, BioMed Realty Trust and American Residential Mortgage Corporation, all NYSE-listed firms. Among other Washington D.C.-based positions, he has served as president of Fannie Mae and as executive vice president of the Mortgage Bankers Association. Mark earned his PhD at the University of Michigan and has been listed in Who’s Who in the World since 1995.
