Global Readiness Program

Are you ready to take your business global?

The Global Readiness Program is a fellowship for local businesses with little to no international business experience, yet ready to expand sales into international markets. This program complements the World Trade Center San Diego's flagship MetroConnect program.

There is a myriad of benefits to exporting your goods and services. However, exporting is complex and many businesses lack the know-how of which international markets to enter and how to do so successfully. By participating in the Global Readiness Program, you will acquire tools and receive tailored services to position your business to go global.

If you have never exported your goods or services before, or you are just getting started, the Global Readiness Program is for you. Participating businesses must be for-profit and based in the United States. Goods and services must be produced with a minimum of 51 percent U.S. content. Your business must be in operation for at least one year prior to starting the Global Readiness Program.

Applications for Cohort III will open in August 2022.
