We have rolling admissions at the Knauss School of Business meaning that applications are reviewed as we receive them. Deadlines serve as a guideline for you to submit your application but please note that spaces in the MACC/MTAX programs and scholarship awards are allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

Required from all post-secondary universities attended*. They can be emailed (directly from the university) to grads@sandiego.edu or mailed to the address below:

Step4

Review international applicant checklist (if applicable)

If you earned a degree from an institution outside the United States, regardless of citizenship status, you are required to *submit an official international transcript evaluation (also called a foreign credential evaluation) as part of your application. Please note that the evaluation must be a course-by-course evaluation. Additional application requirements, include your English Language Exam Score.

Submit your application

Begin your USD graduate application here. A complete application includes:

  • Professional resume - A resume is required to demonstrate your professional experience.
  • Essay - Applicants must respond to a personal essay prompt in 250-500 words.
  • Application Fee - An application fee of $125 is required for all graduate programs at USD. The fee must be paid in order to submit your online application (unless a fee waiver is applied).
  • Two letters of recommendation - Recommendation forms will be sent directly through your online application. You should ask former professors and/or professional supervisors for your recommendation letters.
