Daily Tour Registration

As we move forward in these uncertain times, the University is proactively working with campus partners, as well as local and state resources, to monitor the COVID-19 situation. Because of this, the Office of Undergraduate Admission will not be offering tours. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Clock
Tours start at:
Monday-Friday 10 a.m. 1:30 p.m.
Select Saturdays 11 a.m.*

Daily tours are led by a current USD student and include a 30-minute information session presented by an admission representative followed by a 90-minute walking tour of campus. We do not limit the size of our tours and are able to accommodate all registered visitors on days that our office is open and tour guides are available. Please see below regarding office closures and days with limited tour guide availability.

Office Closures and Self-Guided Tour Dates

Prior to registering for a tour, please take note of the dates below. By checking the “Tour Availability” column, you will be able to see when our office will be closed and when we will be offering self-guided tours. On self-guided tour dates, your visit will begin with an information session; after which, we will do our best to provide a student-led campus tour but may not be able to do so due to limited student availability.

*Saturday Tours will be available on select Saturdays in the months of November - April.

Visitors to our campus must park in the West Parking Structure. Payment is required Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Parking rates are as follows:

  • 30 Min - $0.75
  • 1 Hour - $1.50
  • 2 Hours - $3.00
  • 4 Hours - $4.00

We utilize a pay-by-plate parking system. This means that a license plate number is required when making a payment at the pay station in your parking area. If you will be driving a rental car during your visit, it may be helpful to take a picture of your license plate after you park your vehicle. Once you have made your payment, there is no need to display your receipt on your dashboard. You also have the option to pre-purchase a daily permit using the online customer portal.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (the "Clery Act"), the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available for your review. This report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University of San Diego; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, campus. You may obtain a print copy of this report at the Department of Public Safety, located in the Hughes Administration Center, Room 150.
