I teach philosophy at the University of San Diego.

My research interests lie in the intersection of metaphysics, free will and moral responsibility, and philosophy of religion.

I have published a number of papers on the metaphysics of free will, culminating in a book entitled Free Will: Sourcehood and Its Alternatives. I am editing two books on philosophy of religion for Routledge, and am currently thinking about truthmaking and ontology.

I teach a wide range of courses on metaphysics, philosophy of religion, ethics, and the history of philosophy.

I also serve as the philosophy of religion section editor for the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy.
