An introduction to the main currents of Anglo-American philosophy from the early 20th century to the present, including such movements as logical positivism and linguistic analysis and recent issues such as the analytic-synthetic distinction, identity and spatio-temporal continuity, meaning and reference, and ontological commitment. Requires philosophy major or minor, or sophomore standing.
