There are two representative positions that will be open on the Leadership Council for the Spring 2010 semester: the Community Representative position and the Wellness/Health/Counseling position.

Theology on Tap
Thursday, November 19th, 7-8:30 PM
Theology on Tap is a fun and informal way for Graduate students to take a break from studying, gather together for drinks, fun and fellowship. The Center will be co-sponsoring a conversation on women who ground their social justice work in faith.

Programs First Year Women Rock: Let's Talk This discussion group provides a safe space for freshmen women to connect as they transtion into college life. Topics are generated by group members (e.g. friendship, relationshis and dating, body image, safety, and maintaining a school/life balance). Meetings are held on campus throughout the fall semester at 5:30-7 p.m. in the Women's Center, SLP 424. Safe Space Allies Training By displaying a SAFE SPACE emblem in your working and/ or living areas, you provide a visible marker of validation, support, and respect for members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community as well as other potentially marginalized populations. The sign serves as an indicator of people with whom LGBT and questioning people can speak openly and seek the support they need to succeed at the University of San Diego.
