The Women’s Center is hosting the fifteenth annual Women of Impact Luncheon. This prestigious luncheon honors students, faculty, and staff who have made a notable impact within our university community. Winners will receive an award and have their names inscribed on the Women of Impact plaque displayed in the Women’s Center.

A Woman of Impact is someone who lives the core values of USD (i.e., ethical conduct, community, compassionate service, knowledge and academic excellence.) She encourages new ways of thinking and working in the USD community.  She contributes to the development of her fellow community members.

Please answer the following questions regarding how the nominee has positively impacted the USD community. This semester, USD is highlighting the Catholic Social Thought principle of Promotion of Peace. You are encouraged to highlight how the nominee works to create a more just and peaceful community.

  1. How has the nominee demonstrated her commitment to enact USD’s core values? How has she inspired others to do the same?
  2. Identify ways the nominee has encouraged and fostered new ways of thinking and working in the USD community?
  3. How has the nominee supported the development of her fellow community members?
