What is Wimba and what can it do for me?  The Wimba product line offers fully integrated Voice Tools and Live Classroom for your CE6 course, and a conferencing solution for the online collaborative needs of our campus. 

Voice Tools is a suite of products for CE6 that allows the simple recording and distribution of announcements, presentations, voice mails, podcasts and chat sessions.  These tools are available within every CE6 course simply by clicking on ‘add content link.’

Live Classroom is Wimba’s most robust, media rich product.  This synchronous, live presentation environment supports audio, video, text chat and is fully recordable for future playback on demand.  Host webinars using PowerPoints and web pages, offer online office hours, no longer will you need to cancel class when you are on travel.  This product can also be used as a conferencing solution for your committee meetings, distance courses, and promotional webinars.
