The Steering Committee, in collaboration with the larger Learning Resource Group, guided USD's self-study for the Capacity and Preparatory Review. The Steering Committee met regularly to initiate and plan activities related to preparing the Institutional Proposal and to produce accompanying reports. The Steering Committee organized focus groups for students, staff, faculty, and administrators for in-depth discussions to define "educational excellence" and conducted a campus-wide survey during Spring 2007.
