1 FTE calculations are based on SCH (student credit hours), where the number of SCH generated
is divided by the appropriate FTE student factor:
     15 units = 1 semester undergraduate FTE

Table 3 - Graduation rate for transfer students
Transfers are tracked by year of entry rather than class based on transfer credits.  A transfer student's class placement based on cumulative units may or
may not indicate how close they are to receiving a degree from USD.
Although transfer graduation rates are not required by IPEDS, USD does track their rate of graduation.

Graduate students enrolled in only a credential teaching program are included in 'NonDegree' counts.
Each semester, approximately 10-20 law students are enrolled in both law school and graduate masters programs.
1 FTE calculations are based on SCH (student credit hours), where the number of SCH generated
is divided by the appropriate FTE student factor:
     12 units = 1 semester graduate FTE
     14 units = 1 semester law FTE

Table 5 - IPEDS Data for Cohort Graduation Rate, Last 3 Years, by Ethnicity and Gender
There is no IPEDS survey to collect graduation rates for graduate programs, but USD has identified these graduation rates as one of the
data elements to be included as part of Academic Program Review.  We are in the process of establishing definitions for cohorts and
normal time to program completion.  As we implement data collection for program review, we will be able to provide this information for Table 5.
