Regional Reaccreditation Process

WASC evaluates the quality and effectiveness of colleges and universities in California, Hawaii, Guam and the Pacific Basin on a periodic basis, and USD is in the initial phases of reaccreditation. This website is the primary source of information for the USD community and the general public.

The WASC reaccreditation process has changed significantly since USD last completed the process in 2000, when it culminated with external review of a single comprehensive self-study. Now it involves two phases of review, both based on systematic institutional analysis to improve educational quality.
